I found this caterpillar on the same day as the Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary. That is one of my other macro photos on this site. For this shot I was lying down on my belly in front of the caterpillar. It was moving fast over the ground so I had to shift backwards a couple of times. This was my best shot of the head.
